What should we expect?

With the latest attempt of the mob to riot at the capital it makes me wonder why? What was their plan? What was the strategy? It appears chaos was their only goal. Because chaos is all that was caused, tragic chaos. At least, we all know where each Congress person stands on violence, violence from the right side of the political isle anyway.

Was the goal insurrection? It would appear not, insurrection usually takes a different form and is very violent. I can only compare to other violent insurrections that have taken place over history and this latest riot does not measure up.

Was it revolution? Or succession? Again, it would appear not. We have a couple of really good examples in our own history to compare that to.

Let’s compare the American Revolution to what is happening around us today. What drove that generation to revolution? Tyranny, taxation without representation, a military presence, chaos, riots all that and then some. If we were to start a revolution for what the founding generation started theirs we would have long ago. But what started it really? Perhaps it was the baiting of the people by the king. He pushed them, he frightened them, he challenged them, and finally he provoked them the most by firing first. Sure there were mobs in the streets at the time the people were fed up, angry, and violent.

It would be hard to argue that we are not being baited now. Even by the so called republicans many whom we semi trusted. What do you call what is happening and has happened if not baiting the people to act?

President Trumps biggest appeal is that he was a voice for the people, the people that weren’t represented by the corporate elites, and politicians. The president proved on many occasions that he was our voice and he pointed out, correctly, that he is hated because they hate us. Now that Trump is gone so is our voice and whom is left to defend it?

We did what we were supposed to. We didn’t fight back when BLM took to the streets. We didn’t fight back when democrat politicians and commentators called us racist, sexist and phobias of all kind. We voted with our wallet and our ballot we went to the booth and pulled the lever for our candidate in record numbers. It didn’t matter BLM still rioted, murdered, and burned down big chunks of America. The democrats doubled down on the name calling and put people in power that have promised to silence, belittle, and get rid of us, at all costs. First on social media, what’s next?

One thing is for sure we need to remain calm. When emotions are high we make mistakes. Overrunning the capitol was pointless and all the voices condemning it were just as pointless. We need to gather and educate ourselves and one another. There are perspectives to learn from history. We need many grass roots movements to grow and gain influence.

Stop doing things that can hurt our movement. Trump was right the MAGA movement is just getting started. The bait is there don’t take it in the way the want us to, rather in the way history has showed that works.

I have really enjoyed reading, the more I read the more I learned. After I started sharing what I was learning people would tell me they wish they knew the same thing. So, I started sharing and writing, and there you have it.
